Johanna Konta had few problems in beating Julia Boserup
Johanna Konta cruised past Julia Boserup 6-3 6-1 in her first game at the Bank Of The West Classic in Stanford.
The British No 1, seeded three for the tournament in California, was playing for the first time since her second-round exit against Eugenie Bouchard at Wimbledon late last month.
Konta was in dominant form in the second-round encounter, allowing only one break point - which she saved - to the wildcard entrant and serving up 11 aces.
