Paulo Wanchope treated the Manchester United defence with utter contempt before he applied a well-placed finish to instantly win over the Derby supporters.
Wanchope beat four players in a 60-yard dribble en route to his goal at Old Trafford; the ball seemed to stick to his feet.
The Costa Rica international instantly knew what a significant moment this was as Derby secured a 3-2 win. When he was asked about the goal, later in his Premier League career, he said: "It changed my life."
